JESUS CHRIST APPEARS TO THE BROTHER OF JARED

17 And now, as I, Moroni, said I could not make a full account of these things which are written, therefore it sufficeth me to say that Jesus showed himself unto this man in the
spirit, even after the manner and in the likeness of the same body even as he showedhimself unto the Nephites.
18 And he ministered unto him even as he ministered unto the Nephites; and all this, that this man might know that he was God, because of the many great works which the Lord had showed unto him.
19 And because of the knowledge of this man he could not be kept from beholding within the veil; and he saw the finger of Jesus, which, when he saw, he fell with fear; for he knew that it was the finger of the Lord; and he had faith no longer, for he knew, nothing doubting.
20 Wherefore, having this perfect knowledge of God, he could notbe kept from within the veil; therefore he saw Jesus; and he did minister unto him.

"BEHOLD, I AM JESUS CHRIST"

Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are. I was with the Father from the beginning. I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and in me hath the Father glorified his name (3 Nephi 9:15).
christ in the americas.jpgAnd it came to pass that he stretched forth his hand and spake unto the people, saying: Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world (3 Nephi 11:10).

Jesus literally introduces himself when He said, ‘Behold, I am Jesus Christ.” You can get any more clear than this. He wanted the people to know who He was, and that He was indeed Christ, the Son of God. He even invited the people to come unto Him, feel the prints of the nails in His hands, wrists, feet, and to thrust their hands into His side to know for a more surety that He was who He said He was. During this time, the Holy Ghost bore witness to the people that it truly was Jesus Christ as He had introduced himself.

JESUS CHRIST: GLORY and HONOR

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
--Hebrews 2:9

Jesus suffered death, even death of the cross. He finished the infinite Atonement for all, and in doing so, He was crowned with glory and honor. His atonement made it possible for everyone capable of sinning to repent and receive forgiveness of sins. His perfect atonement suffered pain, agony, and sorrows for all. He suffered for the sins, sicknesses, diseases, and afflictions of people everywhere. His atonement is infinite and eternal.

JESUS CHRIST: NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME

Jesus Christ is Lord
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Jesus kneeling.jpg 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The name of Jesus, who is the Christ, is above all other names because of who He was and is. He is our Advocate with the Father, who pleads our cause daily. Everyone should bow down to Him in humble adoration and gratitude for His infinite atoning sacrifice. Because of Him all will be resurrected and live forever. Jesus suffered, bled, died, and was resurrected for us. He is our Savior and redeemer. Jesus alone is the true Messiah for there is no other.

THE FATHER-THE SON-THE HOLY GHOST

The Holy Ghost:  Testator of Jesus Christ
"No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost."
Holy Ghost.jpg--1 Corinthians 12:3

The Holy Ghost bears witness of Jesus Christ. The mission of the Holy Ghost is to testify of all truth. “By the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things” (Moroni 10:5). If you want to know Jesus and Him crucified, to know Him as your personal Savior and Redeemer, then seek this assurance from the Holy Ghost. Humble yourself in the depths of humility, live the commandments, and perfectly honestly seek Heavenly Father in mighty prayer, asking if Jesus is the Christ, and you will receive a manifestation from the Holy Ghost that Jesus Christ is literally the Son of God, that He is the Messiah and Savior of the World. Live so that you can have the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost to guide your life and keep you on the path of righteousness that will lead you to exaltation and eternal life in the highest heaven of the Celestial World.

JESUS CHRIST: DIVINE SON OF GOD

Jesus Christ is the Promised Messiah, the Promised Savior of the World
christ birth.jpg22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus.
--Acts 13:23
Jesus Christ is the Promised Messiah, the promised Savior, the one that God the Father promised Israel that would come. Prophets prophesied that Jesus would be born through the lineage of David, the son of Jesse, and this prophecy was fulfilled. The entire Old Testament points to the coming of the Messiah, the promised Savior, that He would come in the Meridian of Time. Jesus was born of Mary. He is the divine son of God the Father. Jesus had a mortal mother and an immortal Father, making Jesus the divine Son of God, the Promised Savior.

JESUS CHRIST: GOD WAS WITH HIM

Jesus Went About Doing Good
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
--Acts 10:38

Jesus washing feet.jpgJesus was ordained and anointed by God the Father to be the Savior and Redeemer of the world, to have power over life, death and resurrection, to have power to forgive sins and power to give eternal to qualified persons. Jesus went about doing good. There was no fault nor deceit in Him. He was filled with love and compassion. He loved even the sinners but didn’t like the sins of the people. He forgave and prayed for all people, even those who persecuted Him, He prayed to the Father to forgive them and to help them. Jesus had power to heal afflicted ones and to cast out devils or evil spirits. Evil spirits obeyed His command and voice. God the Father was with Jesus. All Jesus did was to glorify the Father. He overcame the world.

JESUS CHRIST: THE LORD

“Who art thou, Lord?”
And he (Saul, Paul) said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
--Acts 9:5
Paul.jpgJesus appeared to Saul and introduced himself. He said that he was Jesus whom Saul was persecuting, and that it would be hard for Saul to kick against the pricks. Saul was a staunch religiously-oriented man, well trained in religion, but he was fighting against Christ and the church. Saul’s name became Paul. He was fore-ordained in the pre-mortal life to be an apostle here on the earth. He was intelligent, skilled, valiant, and vigorous. His strength and power could be for bad or for good. Originally it was totally for the bad, but after Jesus appeared to him, he was converted to the true Christ and the truth faith. He became one of the greatest missionaries for the Lord ever.

CHRIST IN AMERICA

Jesus Christ in Western Hemisphere
christ in am.jpg

1 And now it came to pass that there were a great multitude gathered together, of the people of Nephi, round about the temple which was in the land Bountiful; and they were marveling and wondering one with another, and were showing one to another the great and marvelous change which had taken place.
2 And they were also conversing about this Jesus Christ, of whom the sign had been given concerning his death.
3 And it came to pass that while they were thus conversing one with another, they heard a voice as if it came out of heaven; and they cast their eyes round about, for they understood not the voice which they heard; and it was not a harsh voice, neither was it a loud voice; nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn.
4 And it came to pass that again they heard the voice, and they understood it not.
5 And again the third time they did hear the voice, and did open their ears to hear it; and their eyes were towards the sound thereof; and they did look steadfastly towards heaven, from whence the sound came.
6 And behold, the third time they did understand the voice which they heard; and it said unto them:
7 Behold my Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, in whom I have glorified my name—hear ye him.
8 And it came to pass, as they understood they cast their eyes up again towards heaven; and behold, they saw a Man descending out of heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe; and he came down and stood in the midst of them; and the eyes of the whole multitude were turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant, for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them.
9 And it came to pass that he stretched forth his hand and spake unto the people, saying:
10 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.
11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning.
12 And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words the whole multitude fell to the earth; for they remembered that it had been prophesied among them that Christ should show himself unto them after his ascension into heaven.
13 And it came to pass that the Lord spake unto them saying:
14 Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world.
15 And it came to pass that the multitude went forth, and thrust their hands into his side, and did feel the prints of the nails in his hands and in his feet; and this they did do, going forth one by one until they had all gone forth, and did see with their eyes and did feel with their hands, and did know of a surety and did bear record, that it was he, of whom it was written by the prophets, that should come.
16 And when they had all gone forth and had witnessed for themselves, they did cry out with one accord, saying:
17 Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God! And they did fall down at the feet of Jesus, and did worship him.

JESUS CHRIST: THE ANOINTED ONE

Find Christ in the Scriptures
And it shall come to pass in that day that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the
anointing.
--2 Nephi 20:27
Jesus was anointed by His Father to be the Savior and Redeemer of the world. His yoke is easy and His burden is light when we turn to Him. If we trust in Him, cast our burden upon Him, then He will ease our burdens so that they may be light. Jesus is The Anointed One. Jesus is with us every minute if we believe in Him and believe Him. He is the ultimate source of light and life; even, the light and life of the world. Choosing to follow Christ is choosing Eternal life. Look to Christ and live.

JESUS CHRIST: SON OF GOD

Testimonies of Jesus Christ

christ savior.jpg
Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
--John 1:48-49
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the King of Israel. Nathanael testified of this truthfulness. At first, Nathanael had faith, he believed that Jesus was the Son of God, but he didn’t have that sure knowledge of the fact. However, now it is apparent that the Holy Ghost bore witness to him about who Jesus actually was, that He was the Son of God. From that time onward Nathanael knew that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God, the King of Israel.
Gordon B. Hinckley also bears a testimony of Jesus Christ:

“He is the central focus of our worship. He is the Lord who shall come again to reign on earth. He is our King, our Lord, our Master, the living Christ, who stands on the right hand of His Father.”

Testimony of Boyd K. Packer, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, Henry B. Eyring, Thomas S. Monson.

JESUS CHRIST: UNIVERSAL RESURRECTION

Jesus Christ: In America In Me

christ resurrection.jpgAnd behold it shall come to pass that after the Messiah hath risen from the dead, and hath manifested himself unto his people, unto as many as will believe on his name, behold, Jerusalem shall be destroyed again; for wo unto them that fight against God and the people of his church.
--2 Nephi 25:14
Jesus, the Messiah, rose from the dead and appeared to those who believed in Him. He appeared to the believers in Jerusalem area as well as the believers in America in the city of Bountiful. Upon His appearance, they felt the prints of the nails in His hands, wrists, feet. They also thrust their hands into His pierced side where the spear had been jabbed into Him. They believed in Him prior to His appearance, but now, by the power of the Holy Ghost, they knew for a surety that He was Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Savior and Redeemer of the World, their personal Confidant.

JESUS CHRIST: THE MESSIAH-THE REDEEMER

Jesus: The Holy One of Israel
Christ Messiah Teacher.jpgBut behold, when the time cometh that they shall dwindle in unbelief, after they have received so great blessings from the hand of the Lord—having a knowledge of the creation of the earth, and all men, knowing the great and marvelous works of the Lord from the creation of the world; having power given them to do all things by faith; having all the commandments from the beginning, and having been brought by his infinite goodness into this precious land of promise—behold, I say, if the day shall come that they will reject the Holy One of Israel, the true Messiah, their Redeemer and their God, behold, the judgments of him that is just shall rest upon them.
--2 Nephi 1:10

Jesus is truly the Messiah, our Redeemer. He is the Holy One of Israel, the Teacher.  If we believe in Him and accept Him, then our heart, mind, and soul will be inclined toward Him and His teachings. Our hearts will be prone to be more obedient to His commandments. If we reject Him and His laws and statutes, then our lives will drift into forbidden paths, trails of life that are counterproductive to a happy and successful life, the life that will carry one to Eternal Life with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and family and friends throughout eternity. Put God First.
JESUS declares He is the MESSIAH

JESUS: THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME

Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God the Father
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
--Philippians 2:8-11
Jesus was perfectly humble. His humility lead Him to perfect obedience, even unto death upon the cruel cross. He suffered pain, agony and affliction in Gethsemane and while hanging, nailed onto the death-born cross. He never complained nor murmured. God the Father exalted Jesus, and the name of Jesus is above every name; for there is no name greater. All should bow at the name of Jesus, all things in heaven and in earth. Everyone should believe in Jesus so deeply and love Him so much that everyone should admit and testify that Jesus Christ is Lord and glorify God the Father. The Spirit of the Holy Ghost bears witness of the truth of all things.
Love God, Jesus, and others above all other commandments, for this is The Greatest Commandment.

"I AM JESUS"

Paul Testifies of Christ
Jesus said to Paul:
"I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks (Acts 9:5)

Paul Testifies:
And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.
--Acts 18:5
The Apostle Paul bears his testimony of Jesus, that Jesus was the Christ. Paul was converted to Jesus and became a great member of Christ’s church. Paul was a missionary that would not stop teaching about Christ. Tradition has it that Paul gave his life and his blood defending Christ and His gospel.

Jesus Christ reigns as Savior and Redeemer of the world, as Mediator and Atoner of all living things, including all people and the earth itself. Jesus is the Great Atoner, the Holy One of Israel. Beside Him there is no other. Jesus even bore testimony of himself when he appeared to the Nephite saints in Bountiful after His resurrection when He said, “Behold, I am Jesus Christ whom the prophets testified shall come into the world” (See 3 Nephi 11:11).

JESUS: THE CHRIST THE HOLY CHILD

Jesus Christ was MOCKED-REVILED-SPIT UPON
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together.
--Acts 4:27

Jesus is the holy child, for He is the Firstborn of the Father. Jesus was born into mortality in the meridian of time. He is the Savior and Redeemer of the world and all worlds ever created and that will ever be created. Jesus was betrayed, mocked, spit upon, tortured, scourged, crucified, and then He resurrected himself, becoming the firstfruits of them that slept. He is the Prince of Peace.

JESUS CHRIST: LIFE EVERLASTING

Eternal Life through the Name of Christ
30 ¶And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
--John 20:30-31
Scriptures are written to inspire people to believe in Jesus, that He is the Christ, the Son of God. Scriptures teach and instruct us how to learn of Christ and to know Him, how we can live lives pleasing to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Righteous living now assures us of eternal life in the hereafter, living with God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, our families and friends. Eternal life is the greatest gift God can bestow upon us as His children. Faith in Jesus Christ and His gospel is the first step toward this greatest gift achievement. Jesus’ atonement makes eternal life possible; otherwise, we would perish and become as satan, no resurrection. But because of the Savior’s atonement, we have freedom and agency to choose, either damnation or eternal life--the choice is ours.

JESUS CHRIST: TESTIFIES TO SAMARITAN WOMAN

Jesus testifies “I that speak unto thee am he.”

The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
--John 4:25-26
Jesus speaks with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well, and Jesus testifies of himself. She said that she knew that the Messiah would come, and that his name was called Christ. She knew things about Christ. She said that when He did come that He would tell them all things, that He was very knowledgeable. Lo, Jesus responded to the woman’s comments by saying, “I am He.” At first the woman found it hard to believe, but soon she realized that He was telling the truth, that the man she was speaking with was indeed Messiah, called the Christ.

Jesus, called Christ, is the Great Atoner, the Savior of the world. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. He possesses unlimited power and has all knowledge, and by the power of the Holy Ghost He can be anywhere. He is the Father’s Only Begotten Son in the flesh. He worked out the infinite Atonement for the salvation of all.

JESUS CHRIST: THE MESSIAH

Jesus’ Atonement affects Eternity Past to Eternity Future
"One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ."
--John 1:40-41

Andrew, Peter’s brother, locates Simon and testifies unto him, “We have found the Messias” (Messiah). Messiah interpreted means ‘the Christ.’ These men had a testimony of Jesus called the Messiah, that He was the Savior of the world. They learned that Jesus would suffer and provide the infinite atonement for all mankind. The Messiah’s atonement affects all people and all created things from eternity past to eternity future. There isn’t any person or thing that the atonement doesn’t influence. The atonement of the Messiah is real and powerful. We access the power of the atonement when we repent, live righteously, and strive to keep all God’s commandments. The motto, “Put God First” is a sure success formula in this lifetime and will assure happiness now and eternal joy forever in the mansions of heaven. Jesus Christ is the Messiah.
