JESUS CHRIST: LIFE EVERLASTING

Eternal Life through the Name of Christ
30 ¶And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
--John 20:30-31
Scriptures are written to inspire people to believe in Jesus, that He is the Christ, the Son of God. Scriptures teach and instruct us how to learn of Christ and to know Him, how we can live lives pleasing to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Righteous living now assures us of eternal life in the hereafter, living with God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, our families and friends. Eternal life is the greatest gift God can bestow upon us as His children. Faith in Jesus Christ and His gospel is the first step toward this greatest gift achievement. Jesus’ atonement makes eternal life possible; otherwise, we would perish and become as satan, no resurrection. But because of the Savior’s atonement, we have freedom and agency to choose, either damnation or eternal life--the choice is ours.

Jesus Christ: The Only Begotten and Savior

Moses 1:6
And I have a work for thee, Moses, my son; and thou art in the similitude of mine Only Begotten; and mine Only Begotten is and shall be the Savior, for he is full of grace and truth; but there is no God beside me, and all things are present with me, for I know them all.
Jesus, the Only Begotten of the Father, is the Savior of the world who is full of divine assistance (grace) and truth (knowledge of things past, present, and future). He sees all things for all things are present before Him. He sees the beginning to the end, for there isn’t anything save He knows it.
We are created in the image of God and can become like Him through our thoughts, desires, works, and His grace. “For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do” (See 2 Nephi 26:23). Grace is divine help from deity, His free gift and favor to us.
