JESUS CHRIST: SON of THE BLESSED

Jesus Sitting on the Right Hand of Power
Jesus is questioned and then He responds, Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

--Mark 14:61
Jesus is the Christ, and He testifies of himself, that He is the Son of the Blessed and sits on the right hand of God the Father, meaning that He is at the Father’s side in all He does. He is God’s son and obeys His Father. Jesus will return for the Second Coming in due time. He will come and will be seen in the clouds of heaven.

Jesus will not and cannot force anyone to do good or evil. He can persuade and encourage and prompt, but will never force. Each individual has the freedom to choose for himself/herself to do right or wrong. Jesus, while living in mortality, chose the right and never the wrong. We need to seek to be like Him.

JESUS CHRIST: THE ULTIMATE OFFER

Jesus Offered Up Himself
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
--Hebrews 7:27
Jesus is the Great I AM. He sacrificed himself up, upon the cross, to atone for our sins. He didn’t atone for His own sins, for He had none, but He atoned for the sins of everyone who  was and is capable of sinning. Little children cannot sin, but they are guiltless because of Christ’s loving atonement. Others, under certain circumstances, cannot sin and are not held accountable for they know not right from wrong. Without Christ, no one would be able to be resurrected and live forever in the resurrected state. His atonement makes salvation possible and brings people back into the presence of God the Father to live forever with Him, those who earn eternal life. Others will dwell in a lesser degree of glory predicated upon the choices they made here in mortality.

Jesus offered up himself, denying himself for the benefit of others.

JESUS CHRIST: THE SUFFERINGS OF

Jesus Christ Suffered Death in the Flesh
The Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore he suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto him.
--Doctrine and Covenants 18:11
Jesus, our Redeemer, suffered pain and agony in the flesh, mind, and His spirit. He experienced excruciating pain and torment and affliction for all people and things, giving us the chance to repent, to change our ways and come closer to Him, to become His sons and daughters. He suffered torment from those who hated Him and persecuted Him, from those who scourged and crucified Him, from those who betrayed Him. Even those who didn’t believe Him or believe in Him, this caused great mental trauma in His soul. Jesus loves all people, regardless of their actions, although He doesn’t like one’s evil actions. Jesus is the great I AM.

Salvation Through Jesus Christ

John 3:14-17
14 ¶And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 ¶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jesus was lifted up so that He could lift us up, to raise us from carnal and devilish to saintly and Christlike. Eternal life is waiting for those who believe in Jesus Christ and His gospel and accept and abide by His commandments to the end of their mortal lives. God the Father loved the world so much that He gave, he gave His only Begotten Son in the flesh to suffer, bleed, and die for us, to work out the infinite atonement (payment) so that we would all have the opportunity to inherit Celestial glory in the highest heaven of the Celestial world, which is exaltation, eternal life.
Jesus, our Savior, was foreordained in pre-mortal life to be our Savior and Redeemer. He came to earth and fulfilled His mission perfectly by doing 100% the Father’s will.
GIVE
  1. God the Father gave: His only Begotten Son to bless and enrich others.
  2. Jesus gave: His life to bless and enrich others.
  3. WE must follow their example of giving and give: our lives to bless and enrich others.
Jesus said:
Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (See Luke 6:38)
When we freely and unselfishly give, we exemplify our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, which is one of our purposes for living in mortality, to strive to become like them.
Jesus said, “What manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say, Even as I am.” (See 3 Nephi 27:27)
