The Gospel of Jesus Christ

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”. (Romans 1:16)

The Apostles Paul was brave and courageous. He testified boldly of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Paul was persecuted for his power and unrelenting faith and works. He was valiant in the testimony of Jesus. Paul was not ashamed of Christ’s gospel, but instead, he was humbly grateful for it. He is everlasting thankful for Jesus appearing to him while traveling on the road to Damascus  that eventful night where he, Paul, became converted to Christ and eventually became a minister for Jesus in the full sense of the word.

Gospel means “Good News.” Paul taught that the gospel of Christ is power, the power of God unto salvation. The gospel of God is the armor and organization that will enable a person to gain salvation in the eternities, if they only believe in Jesus Christ and follow Him, regardless of one’s ethnicity. God is no respecter of persons. “He denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God” (2 Nephi 26:33). What a marvelous doctrine it is that God loves everyone everywhere, and He invites all to come unto Him and be saved.

Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. This gospel is His gospel since He adopted it from His Father. The very first principle of the gospel is to have faith in Jesus Christ. All other religious doctrines and principles stem from faith in Christ. Choose to put Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ on your Inner Circle, thus fulfilling the royal law of The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
