“Thou art the Christ”
Jesus said, “But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.”
--Mark 8:29
Jesus is literally the Christ, the Messiah and Redeemer of the world. He is the Holy One of Israel. Jesus Christ is the creator of heaven and earth and all things therein both. He worketh under the direction of God the Father, and is subject to Him. One can gain a testimony of Jesus by the power of the Holy Ghost, and by the power of the Holy Ghost one can obtain a testimony of the truth of all things. “No one can say that Jesus is the Lord but by the Holy Ghost,” for the Holy Ghost bears witness of all truth. “Be still and know that I am.”
